PediPRN Intensive Program
The 2019 PediPRN Intensive Program cohort
The PediPRN Intensive Program (PIP) was developed to meet a need identified by the enrolled pediatric primary care providers to provide an in-depth training in child mental health topics. The goal is to create a group of practitioners embedded in each of their home practices who will serve as local experts. This will not replace the availability of PediPRN for all enrolled participants, but instead will enhance the local expertise and competence with more challenging mental health problems that this subset is motivated to treat.
About the Course
The start date for next PediPRN Intensive Program is March 7th 2025 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. This half day seminar will be in-person at Bradley Hospital. Six subsequent ECHO-like VIRTUAL sessions are planned for Fridays from 12:00 -1:00pm over the Spring (see dates below). We ask that those enrolled do their best to attend all sessions.
Agenda details will be released in January. The half-day seminar will cover advanced assessment and treatment of youth ADHD, anxiety and depression. Additional topics we are planning to include: ASD, sleep, somatization, managing difficult conversations, and DEI.
